We work with dogs throughout all stages of life, from puppies learning their first foundations to adult and senior dogs working on manners, behavior, enrichment, and lifestyle skills.

Every program is tailored to the individual dog and their goals.

Yes. We work with a variety of behavioral challenges, including reactivity, overexcitement, leash pulling, anxiety, poor impulse control, difficulty settling, and other behaviors that can make everyday life more difficult.

Because every dog is different, we’ll first learn about your dog’s history, behavior, environment, and goals before determining which service is the best fit.

We believe training tools should be selected based on the individual dog, the behavior being addressed, and the handler’s ability to use the tool correctly and fairly.

Our focus is always on clear communication, structure, consistency, and building a strong relationship between dog and owner. Tools are never a substitute for training.

Yes.

Owner involvement is an important part of our training philosophy, particularly with private training and our Adventure Dog Program.

Our goal isn’t simply to teach your dog what to do—we want you to understand how to communicate with your dog and continue those skills in everyday life.

The Adventure Dog Program is designed for owners who want their dogs to confidently participate in the activities they love—from hiking and beach days to running, boating, camping, traveling, and other everyday adventures.

The program focuses on skills such as engagement, recall, impulse control, communication, environmental neutrality, settling, leash skills, and safe progression toward off-leash reliability when appropriate.

Not necessarily right away—and that’s okay.

Group adventures are only appropriate when a dog has the skills and temperament to participate safely and comfortably.

If your dog isn’t ready for a group environment, we may recommend private training or private adventures first. Our goal is to build your dog toward success, not put them into a situation they’re not prepared for.

Our adventure hikes provide dogs with structured opportunities to explore, exercise, and experience new environments.

Depending on the service, adventures may include small-group hikes or private adventures tailored to the individual dog’s needs, fitness, temperament, and training level.

Puppy & Enrichment sessions are designed for young dogs who may not yet be ready for longer adventures but still need meaningful outlets for exercise, exploration, play, and learning.

Sessions may incorporate structured play, age-appropriate enrichment, basic training foundations, and exposure to new environments.

There isn’t a universal timeline for training.

Every dog learns differently, and progress depends on factors including the dog’s history, temperament, goals, and the consistency of practice between sessions.

We’ll recommend a starting program based on your dog’s needs, and additional sessions or program extensions can be added as needed.

You’ll receive an overview of what we worked on, the skills introduced or reinforced, and recommendations for practice between sessions.

We also encourage clients to send videos or questions between sessions when they’re struggling with homework or want feedback. This allows us to make adjustments and keep progress moving forward.

Yes. Board & Train programs are available through our Training services.

Because Board & Train is more immersive than private training, program structure, length, and pricing vary depending on the dog’s needs and the selected program.

Yes!

After an initial adventure experience, eligible dogs may be able to participate in recurring adventure services such as weekly or bi-weekly hikes.

Recurring services are based on availability and the dog’s suitability for the specific adventure.
