How It Works

A Personalized Approach From Day One Every dog is different. That’s why we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all training or cookie-cutter care. Whether you’re looking for training, enrichment, adventure, or a combination of services, we’ll start by getting to know you and your dog so we can create an experience that actually fits your goals.

1. Tell Us About Yourself

Start with an Inquiry

Tell us a little about your dog, your goals, and what you’re hoping to accomplish.

We’ll ask about things like their age, temperament, lifestyle, training history, and any specific challenges or goals you’d like us to address.

Your first step is simply starting the conversation.

2. Let’s Connect

We’ll Get to Know You

Once we receive your inquiry, we’ll connect with you to learn more about your dog and what you’re looking for.

This is your opportunity to ask questions, talk through your goals, and make sure we’re the right fit for one another.

3. Meet Your Dog

Every Potential Client Begins With an Evaluation

Before beginning ongoing services, we’ll meet your dog and take the time to understand their individual needs.

Depending on the service you’re interested in, this may include observing their:

  • Temperament
  • Communication
  • Engagement
  • Leash skills
  • Impulse control
  • Social behavior
  • Environmental confidence
  • Energy level
  • Training history
  • Overall lifestyle

Why do we evaluate first?

Because not every dog needs the same thing.

An evaluation allows us to determine which services are appropriate for your dog and your goals.

4. Build Your Plan

Your Dog. Your Goals. Your Plan.

Once we get to know your dog, we’ll recommend the services and approach that best fit their individual needs and your goals.

That may include private training, puppy training & enrichment, adventure services, or our Adventure Dog Program. Sometimes the right answer is one service. Sometimes it’s a combination.

Our goal is to recommend what your dog actually needs—not simply sell you a package.

5. Put It Into Practice

This Is Where the Real Progress Happens

Each session builds on the last, giving you practical tools to continue the work at home.

After every training session, you’ll receive:

Session Recap — What we worked on and what your dog learned.

Personalized Homework — Specific skills to practice between sessions.

Between-Session Support — Send questions, photos, or videos when you need help.

Ongoing Adjustments — We’ll adapt the plan as your dog progresses.

Because training doesn’t end when the session does.

6. Keep Growing

Progress Isn’t Always Linear

Dogs learn at different speeds, and every family’s schedule, goals, and level of involvement are different.

As your dog progresses, we’ll evaluate what’s working, what needs more practice, and what comes next.

Some dogs may be ready to move on after their initial program.

Others may benefit from additional sessions, continued adventure training, or a new challenge.

There’s no arbitrary finish line.

We work toward the goals that make sense for you and your dog.

All of these packages offer lifetime support.

Our Approach

We Meet Dogs Where They Are—Then Help Them Move Forward.

We don’t believe a dog has to be “perfect” before they deserve to experience the world.

Some dogs need structure.

Some need confidence.

Some need boundaries.

Some need more enrichment.

Some need help learning how to communicate with their people. And sometimes, they need a little bit of everything.

Our job is to figure out where your dog is today and help you build toward where you want them to be tomorrow.

Ready to get started?

Let’s Find the Right Place to Begin.

Tell us a little about your dog, what you’re hoping to accomplish, and what you’re looking for.

We’ll take it from there.
