More Than Training. A Philosophy.
At the Pinnacle of Dogs, we believe every dog has the potential to thrive when they’re given the right balance of guidance, understanding, structure, and freedom to be themselves.
Our approach goes beyond teaching obedience. We focus on creating confident, well-rounded dogs while giving their people the knowledge and tools to
build a stronger relationship with them.
Training. Adventure. Enrichment. Connection.
That’s the heart of The Pinnacle of Dogs.

A lifelong love of dogs became a passion for helping them thrive.
My love for dogs started long before I ever imagined I would make a career out of it.
I got my first dog, a red Golden Retriever, when I was in kindergarten. From that moment on, dogs became an incredibly important part of my life. Growing up alongside them, raising my own puppies, and learning their individual personalities taught me lessons that I didn’t realize would eventually shape the way I work with dogs today.
For years, I never imagined becoming a dog trainer. I simply knew that I loved dogs, loved learning about them, and took enormous pride in giving them the best life I could.
The Turning Point
After becoming a mother, I began to realize that working with dogs could be more than a passion — it could become my life’s work.
At the time, I had a pack of eight dogs, each with their own personality, history, quirks, and challenges. My pack included breeds ranging from Great Pyrenees and Bernese Mountain Dogs to an Akita-Husky, Rottweiler, Huskies, and a Wolfdog. Some were rescues, and each came with their own unique story.
Then I discovered a podcast created by a dog trainer in Georgia that explored balanced dog training and the methodology behind it.
Something clicked.
I began applying what I was learning in my own time, working with each of my dogs as an individual rather than trying to approach them all the same way. And slowly, I started seeing real change.
Dogs who once struggled on leash became reliable. Dogs with different personalities and backgrounds learned to coexist. And as their skills grew, so did their freedom.
Training Changed More Than Their Behavior
That was when I truly fell in love with dog training.
I realized that training wasn’t simply about having a well-behaved dog. It was about giving dogs the ability to experience more of the world with confidence.
A trained dog can go on adventures.
They can hike through the woods, explore new places, run alongside their person, enjoy a day at the beach, and experience new environments without being limited by the behaviors that once held them back.
I saw that transformation in my own dogs, and it completely changed the way I viewed training.
The more I learned, the more I wanted to understand dogs on a deeper level — their breed tendencies, genetics, behavior, physiology, anatomy, communication, and the many factors that make each individual dog unique.
I became obsessed with learning.
From Passion to The Pinnacle of Dogs
Eventually, I knew I wanted to share what I had learned with other dogs and their people.
When I first decided to build The Pinnacle of Dogs, I was fortunate enough to connect directly with the trainer whose work had originally inspired me. She shared advice and guidance that helped me take those first steps toward building a business of my own.
From there, The Pinnacle of Dogs was built through a lot of hard work, learning, and determination.
I was also raising my daughter at the time, and building this business became about more than creating a career. It became about building a life for my family while creating something I genuinely believed in.
I wanted my daughter to grow up seeing that you can build something from nothing, pursue what you’re passionate about, and create a life that reflects the things you value.
What The Pinnacle Means to Me
Today, my philosophy is simple:
I want dogs to live their best lives.
I love seeing a dog become more confident, more capable, and more connected to their person. I love seeing an owner put in the work, learn to understand their dog, and experience that moment when everything starts to click.
Because the goal isn’t simply obedience.
The goal is freedom, confidence, connection, and a life that both dogs and their people can fully enjoy.
That’s what The Pinnacle of Dogs is about.
Helping every dog reach their own pinnacle.

Every Dog Is an Individual.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to dogs. Every dog has their own temperament, history, genetics, environment, motivations, and needs. Understanding those differences is the foundation of meaningful training.
We take the time to understand the individual dog in front of us so that our approach can be tailored to who they are, where they are, and where we want them to go.
Training Should Create Freedom.
We don’t train dogs simply so they can follow commands. We train them so they can participate more fully in life.
The better a dog understands how to navigate the world, the more opportunities they can safely experience — whether that’s hiking through the woods, exploring somewhere new, relaxing at home, or enjoying an adventure alongside their person.
Training should open doors, not close them. A Fulfilled Dog Is a Happier Dog.
Dogs need more than obedience. They need to move. Explore. Sniff. Think. Learn. Experience new environments. Engage their natural instincts.
Mental stimulation and physical activity are an important part of a dog’s overall wellbeing, which is why training, adventure, and enrichment are at the heart of The Pinnacle of Dogs.
We Train the Relationship, Too.
Your dog isn’t the only one learning.
The most meaningful results happen when owners understand how their dogs communicate, what motivates them, and how to consistently reinforce the behaviors they want to see.
Our goal isn’t just to change your dog’s behavior — it’s to give you the knowledge and confidence to communicate with them more clearly.
Our Goal
We don’t believe in creating the “perfect” dog.
We believe in helping every dog become the best, most confident version of themselves — while helping their people understand them, trust them, and enjoy more of life together.
Every Dog Has Their Own Pinnacle.
Pinnacle means the highest point — the very best or most successful version of something.
At The Pinnacle of Dogs, we don’t believe in creating the “perfect” dog. We believe in helping each dog become the best, most confident, and fulfilled version of themselves.
Every dog is different, and their pinnacle will look different, too. For one dog, it may mean confidently navigating busy environments. For another, it may mean enjoying an off-leash adventure, welcoming guests into the home, or simply feeling more comfortable in their everyday world.
Whatever your dog’s pinnacle looks like, we’re here to help them reach it.

Whether you’re looking to build better manners, work through a behavior challenge, give your dog more opportunities to explore, or simply create a stronger connection, we’re here to help.
Let’s find the right path forward for you and your dog.
